Parts shop guide

List your stock so customers find you, and receive requests matching your speciality

Parts Shop & Scrapyard Guide — Getting the Most from Worshati Kuwait

This guide is for owners of car parts shops, scrapyards, and accessory, battery and tyre shops in Kuwait.

What does the platform give you?

The customer photographs the part they need, and the request reaches you — if it is your speciality.

Instead of driving from shop to shop, the customer sends one request that goes to specialised shops, and each replies with what it has and at what price. The customer compares and chooses.

What you gain:

  • Requests matched to your speciality only — you never receive what you do not sell.
  • New customers with zero advertising spend.
  • You learn what the market actually wants — follow the requests and see which parts are in demand.
  • Sell without opening a second branch — requests from other governorates reach you, and you decide on delivery or pickup.
  • A documented reputation through reviews.

Cost today: zero. No subscription, no commission on any order.

🆕 The parts market — your stock on display around the clock

The platform now has two roads that bring the customer to you, not one:

RoadHow it works
The request (original)The customer photographs the part → the request reaches you → you quote
The market (new)You list your parts with photos and prices → the customer searches and finds them → they contact you directly

The difference matters: in the request you wait for the customer; in the market your stock works for you 24 hours, even while you sleep.

How do you add a part?

From your dashboard: Shop inventory → Add part. Three short steps:

  1. Photograph the part — a real photo sells more, and the customer trusts what they see. (Mandatory for used parts.)
  2. Its details — name, category, the compatible car and its years, and the part number (OEM) if you know it.
  3. Price and quantity — plus condition (original/commercial/salvage) and warranty if you offer one.
The most important tip in this guide: write the part number. It is the most precise way for a customer to find you. The system matches it however it is typed — someone searching for 16400 0h 280 finds your part listed as 16400-0H280.

What does the customer see?

They search by name, by part number, or by their car and its year — so if you specify that your part fits a Camry 2015–2019, it shows to a 2017 Camry owner and not to a 2022 owner. That saves you calls that end in no sale.

And if they find the part nowhere, they move automatically to the request flow — so their request reaches you anyway. You do not lose a customer because your stock lacked that part.

Numbers that are yours

Your dashboard shows you:

  • Contacts (30 days) — how many times a customer pressed "WhatsApp" or "Call" from your part pages.
  • A counter per part — which part is actually being asked about.
  • Stale — a part unsold for 60 days, so you review its price or stop listing it.

Use them: stock more of what is asked for, and drop what does not move.

The stock log — your protection in any dispute

Every quantity change is recorded with its time and reason (sale / restock / manual count). If the numbers ever disagree, the log settles it, not memory.

Limits and cost

The free package allows 20 listed products, and your dashboard shows "12 of 20" before you reach the limit, not after.

And the cost today is zero: no subscription, no commission on a sale. Any change is announced beforehand.

⚠️ Note this one: the market has no payment cart — the customer sees your part and contacts you, and the sale and delivery happen between you directly, outside the platform. So update the quantity as soon as you sell, or a customer will call you about a part you no longer have — and that harms your reputation, not the platform's.

Registration — step by step

  1. Open worshati.com and tap "Create account".
  2. Choose the "Parts shop" tab.
  3. Fill in:
  • Your name, phone, email, and a password (6 characters minimum).
  • Shop name as customers will see it.
  • Governorate and address — pin your location precisely on the map so customers reach you easily.
  • Origins you deal in (required): Japanese · Korean · American · European · Chinese. Select all that apply.
  • Stock type: new parts · scrap (used) · both.
  • Part categories (optional): batteries · tyres · accessories · oils and filters · electrical · glass · bodywork · general.
  • Vehicle classes (optional): light · heavy · motorcycles.
  1. Accept the provider agreement and register.

Our team reviews and activates your account, and you receive an "Account activated" notification.

How the right request reaches you, exactly

The system matches four things before sending you anything:

1. The origin of the customer's car — if you specialise in Japanese and a customer requests a Toyota part, it reaches you. If they request a Mercedes part and you do not handle European, it does not.

2. Stock type — a new-parts shop never receives scrap requests, and a scrapyard never receives requests for new original parts. Whoever selected "both" receives everything.

3. Part category — if you specified your categories (batteries and tyres, say), you receive only those requests. If you leave categories empty, you receive all categories.

4. Vehicle class — light, heavy or motorcycles, according to your speciality.

In practice: the more precisely you set up your profile, the more you receive only what you can actually sell — no noise from irrelevant requests.

Important tip: do not select categories you do not stock (requests you cannot serve), and do not forget a category you do stock — you will never receive its requests, which is lost business. You can change all of this at any time from "Shop profile".

Your day on the platform

1. The request arrives

A notification on your phone, even with the app closed. Enable notifications and add the app to your home screen — speed wins you the order.

The request contains:

  • Part name and type (spare part or accessory).
  • Car details — make, model and year.
  • Photos of the part taken by the customer.
  • What they want: original · commercial · scrap · or "compare all".
  • Registration book photo and chassis number if attached — they help you identify the part precisely.
  • The OEM part number if provided.
  • The customer's governorate — you know the distance before committing.

2. Submit your offer

Tap "Submit an offer" and fill in:

  • The price.
  • The condition you actually have: original (dealer) · commercial (aftermarket) · scrap (used). Be honest here — the customer will see the part on collection, and honesty builds a repeat customer.
  • Warranty, if you offer one.
  • Availability: "in stock now" or "arrives within two days".
  • A photo of the actual part you havethe single biggest factor in winning the order, especially for used and scrap parts. Customers buy with far more confidence when they can see what they will receive.
  • Delivery method: pickup from the shop · delivery · or both — with the delivery fee specified.

The delivery fee is added to the invoice and reaches you in full.

3. Return policy — write it once, shown always

From "Shop profile", write your own return and exchange policy, and it appears to the customer with every offer you make.

Example: "Exchange within 3 days provided the part is uninstalled and the invoice is presented. Electrical items are non-returnable."

Why this is in your favour: the biggest worry for parts shops is parts coming back for not fitting. When the customer reads your terms before buying, disputes drop sharply and you are protected from unfair return demands. At the same time it reassures serious customers and increases their trust in you.

4. Your offer was accepted

It becomes an order in your dashboard with the customer's details, phone, and a WhatsApp link.

Update the status as you go:

  • Start preparing → the customer knows you are working on it.
  • Ready → the part is ready for pickup or delivery.

Your invoice is shown itemised: part value + delivery fee = total collected from the customer. No confusion over figures.

5. Details changed? Adjust transparently

This happens often: the customer asked for original but only commercial is available, or the requirement changed after agreement.

Tap "Part or price changed? Request an adjustment", and set the new price, new condition and warranty with the reason. It goes to the customer and takes effect only with their approval.

This protects you from arguments at handover — the change is documented with the customer's consent.

6. Collection and reviews

When you receive payment, confirm it in the app (cash or card). The customer then rates you, and you can reply to their review.

Your shop profile — your shopfront

Your shop appears in the parts shop directory to every visitor, with badges showing your stock type (new/scrap), the origins you handle, and your rating.

Make your profile complete: a clear logo, an accurate address, contact numbers, and a written return policy.

Common worries — answered frankly

"I can't answer every request that comes in, and I'm afraid of a bad review." Not responding does not affect your rating. Ratings come only from a customer you actually dealt with and completed an order for. Respond only to what suits you.

"I'm afraid of getting a request from a far area." The customer's governorate is shown to you before you submit any offer. If it is far, do not offer — or offer with a delivery fee that suits the distance.

"Parts get returned because they don't fit." That is exactly why the return policy exists — you write it once and it appears to the customer with every offer, before purchase. You can also request the registration book photo or chassis number to confirm compatibility before handover.

"I'm not good with apps." The platform is in four languages (Arabic, English, Hindi, Urdu) and the interface is simple: a notification arrives, you open it, type your price, send. And if you need help, the support team will walk you through it step by step.

Frequently asked questions

What does the platform cost me? Nothing at present — no subscription, no commission. Any change will be announced in advance.

Will I get requests that are not for me? No — matching is based on your origins, stock type, categories, and vehicle class.

Must I respond? Not at all.

How do I get paid? Directly from the customer (cash or card). The platform documents and never stands between you and your money.

And the delivery fee? It is added to the invoice and reaches you in full.

Does this cover accessories, batteries and tyres? Yes — all are categories you select in your profile, and all have real demand.

I only run a scrapyard, does it suit me? Yes. Select "scrap (used)" and you receive only scrap requests, never new-part requests.
